Trucking software that works with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop.

QuickBooks stays your ledger. TransPlus is the trucking software in front of it: the invoice is built from the load you dispatched and posts to QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop, with nothing keyed twice. The trip, the stops and the POD stay in the TMS. Accounting integration is included from Fleet Manager Lite, at $350 per month for one user.

Built from the load.

The invoice comes off the same trip record you dispatched, so the customer, the rate and the stops are typed once. Every re-key is a chance to bill wrong; the export removes the second keying.

QuickBooks Online or Desktop.

TransPlus connects to QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop, so a fleet that keeps its books in Desktop doesn't have to move them to get a TMS.

Bill the day the POD lands.

Drivers send PODs from TransPlus Connect straight to the trip, so the invoice can post to QuickBooks the day the load delivers instead of when the paperwork catches up.

Order entry, dispatch, document imaging, customer invoicing and accounting package integration are all on the Fleet Manager Lite feature list. The load is entered once at order entry. Dispatch runs it. The BOL and POD are imaged against the trip. The invoice is built from it, in CAD or USD, and posts to QuickBooks. Nobody types the customer, the rate or the stops twice.

Driver pay and owner-operator settlements.

Basic driver payroll is on the Lite feature list, so the driver's pay comes off the same trip record as the invoice. Owner-operator pay exports to QuickBooks as well, alongside the receipts and invoices for customers, vendors and carriers. Ask on the demo to see a settlement run end to end for the way your fleet pays.

Not on QuickBooks? The export runs to Sage 50 and Sage 300.

TransPlus has 66 integrations across accounting, fuel cards, telematics, trailer tracking and carrier onboarding, so switching your TMS does not mean switching your ledger. Moving from Avaal Express (AED) or AFM? Your QuickBooks file stays put.

QuickBooks trucking software: common questions.

Can I keep my existing QuickBooks file, customers and items?

You keep your QuickBooks file; the integration posts into it rather than replacing it. Your customers, drivers, carriers, trucks and trailers come into TransPlus through TransPlus templates, guided by a person rather than a ticket queue, so the customer on the load and the customer on the ledger start from the same list. Your existing QuickBooks items and accounts are matched to TransPlus during setup.

Does it handle Canadian and US currency?

Yes. TransPlus invoices in CAD or USD, so a Canadian customer and a US customer each get an invoice in their own currency. How the two currencies post into your QuickBooks file depends on your QuickBooks edition and setup.

Does TransPlus work with factoring companies?

Yes, through bill-to locations. If a customer sometimes pays you directly and sometimes goes through your factoring company, set up more than one bill-to location on that customer record, each with its own email address, and invoice the right one. TransPlus does not push invoices into a factoring company's portal, but it builds an invoice package with all the supporting documents, so what you send the factor is complete.

Does TransPlus work with QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop?

Both. TransPlus exports to QuickBooks Online and to QuickBooks Desktop, so a fleet that keeps its books in Desktop doesn't have to move them to get a TMS. Tell us which edition you run and the demo shows that one, from the load to the posted invoice.

Do payments recorded in QuickBooks come back into TransPlus?

No. Data moves one way, from TransPlus into QuickBooks. Customer payments are recorded and reconciled in QuickBooks, which stays your ledger.

How does TransPlus connect to QuickBooks Desktop?

When you prepare a transfer, TransPlus prompts you to log in to your QuickBooks Desktop account, and the transfer goes to that account.

How do I see the QuickBooks export before committing?

Request a demo through the TransPlus demo form. Every demo is personalized, scheduled the same week you ask, with no commitment. Say which QuickBooks edition you run and ask to follow one load from order entry to the invoice posting, then the settlement. 1:1 live technical support on every plan, 7am to 6pm ET, Monday to Friday, with emergency after-hours support.

How long does setup take?

Onboarding takes 30 to 90 days depending on fleet size and data migration, and most Fleet Manager customers are live within 60 days, with a named onboarding specialist. Your specialist trains your team live on the software and on every integration you have bought before go-live, QuickBooks included, and your customers, drivers, carriers, trucks and trailers come over through TransPlus templates with a person guiding the import rather than a ticket queue.

What about driver pay and owner-operator settlements?

Basic driver payroll is on the Lite feature list, and the driver's pay comes off the same trip record as the invoice, so what the load billed and what the driver earned are never two different numbers. Owner-operator payroll exports to QuickBooks.

What data moves from TransPlus to QuickBooks?

The customer invoice, built from the load you dispatched, posts to QuickBooks so nobody keys it twice. Receipts and invoices for customers, vendors and carriers export the same way, and so does owner-operator payroll. What stays in the TMS is what QuickBooks was never built to hold: the trip, the stops, the rate con and the POD. The exact list can differ by QuickBooks edition.

What if we use Sage instead of QuickBooks?

The same export runs to Sage 50 and Sage 300. TransPlus has 66 integrations across accounting, fuel cards, telematics, trailer tracking and carrier onboarding, including QuickBooks, Sage, Samsara, Motive, ISAAC and Geotab, so switching your TMS does not mean switching your accounting package. If you are on a package that is not QuickBooks or Sage, tell us which one you run and we will confirm whether it connects.

What is the difference between a QuickBooks integration and accounting inside the TMS?

QuickBooks stays the ledger: the chart of accounts, the tax filing, the bank feed and your accountant's year-end all stay where they are. The TMS holds the operational record: the trip, the stops, the rate, the POD and the driver's pay. The integration carries the invoice from the TMS into QuickBooks. You are not replacing QuickBooks and you are not running two ledgers; you are removing the second round of data entry between them.

Which plan includes the QuickBooks integration?

Every Fleet Manager and Logistics Manager plan. On Fleet Manager, accounting package integration is on the Lite feature list, with dispatch with track and trace, load and asset planning, telematics integration, order entry and management, document imaging, basic driver payroll and customer invoicing. Fleet Manager starts at $350 per month for Lite, $500 for Standard and $650 for Enterprise, and Logistics Manager starts at $500 per month, each for one user. Every plan is an annual contract billed quarterly, in CAD or USD depending on where your business operates.
