Jake McGuire joined Trans Plus in January of 2021 after the successful acquisition of the company by Banyan Software. With 15+ years of experience leading software companies like Big Road, an HOS and ELD SaaS provider, to impressive new heights, Jake is uniquely suited to help Trans Plus grow to meet the needs of the transportation industry.
He has a proven reputation for building award winning teams and has an intuitive understanding of technology. His ability to operationalize go-to-market strategies with a systemic, customer centric and data driven approach enables him to drive efficient and measurable growth.
In the warmer months he is an avid golfer but once the snow hits he tries to make time for snowboarding trips in the beautiful Canadian Rockies. He has a passion for animals and loves spending time with his dog and family.
In his role as Vice President, Operations, Jordan brings almost 20 years of entrepreneurial experience to the Trans Plus team. Over the course of his career, Jordan has built a reputation as a proven leader who leverages modern technology to help transform legacy businesses within the apparel manufacturing industry.
After spearheading the successful sale of his business to a boutique private equity firm, Jordan spent the next 5 years of his career with the LMAG group of companies, driving inter-departmental innovation and process improvement across the organization. A charismatic leader with a knack for framing elegant solutions to complex business problems, Jordan joined the TransPlus team in June 2021 with a focus on engineering scalable processes and organizational structures to facilitate exponential growth.
When he’s not busy working or doting over his two young daughters, you’ll likely find Jordan in a hockey arena, on a baseball diamond or whizzing by on his electric skateboard. Don’t tell his mom.
In her primary role as Trans Plus’ Financial Controller, Sandy Kraemer uses her 30 years of experience to help guide the company’s financial strategy. Employed with Trans Plus since 2002, she frequently finds herself navigating multiple projects and she works closely with the executive team to improve efficiencies across the business.
While she keeps a close eye on the company’s finance and accounting operations, she also ensures that day to day operations run smoothly and that all employees find Trans Plus a welcoming, interesting, and fun place to work.
Sandy is married and has 3 adult sons. When she can find the time, she enjoys yoga and water aerobics. She is also looking forward to the day when she can finally travel again!
With over 20 years in the industry, Scott Currie-Mills uses his technical skills, business acumen and passion for customer service to plan the strategic vision for Trans Plus and lead the direction of the product.
Scott previously led the successful expansion of Trans Plus’ EDI capabilities and as Director of Product he will leverage that experience to help liaise between the Engineering, Marketing, Support and Implementation teams to ensure all aspects of the software share the same high level of quality.
While Scott may tell you his first passion is working, he also enjoys doing home renovations, travelling, and playing hockey and golf.
As the Head of Engineering, David Johnston loves to help his team grow, develop their skills, and excel at what they do. Most of his career has been spent in the Software Development Industry where he has gained .Net, SQL, and project management experience.
Dave has spent 15 years with Trans Plus and in that time has overseen the successful transition from the VB6 to C# platform of the software. His extensive knowledge of the product combined with his patient mentorship has helped his team develop the innovative solutions that Trans Plus customers use every day.
While he manages developers and testers by day, in his free time Dave also enjoys watching hockey, playing baseball, and beating his friends at poker.
Caitrin Le Roux started at Trans Plus as a Customer Support Representative and through her proven technical troubleshooting skills, dedication to identifying process improvements, and natural leadership abilities she climbed the ranks to become Technical Support Manager.
Her previous experience in Quality Assurance, Vendor Management, Software Testing and Defect Reporting allows her to understand the nature and scope of the issues facing customers and she is able to quickly direct her team to provide satisfying resolutions. She is committed to providing excellent customer care and building a team that supports this vision in every customer interaction, no matter how big or small.
When she isn’t busy keeping the Support team running, she is busy at home raising three young children with her husband. In her free time, she enjoys staying active through hiking and running. She also enjoys playing the piano and the guitar.
