Avaal has served carriers since 2008, and Avaal Express is a desktop TMS. Its plans list free training and onboarding and 24/7 live support, and it runs its own ACE and ACI e-manifest service, AEM. TransPlus fits when billing rules, driver pay and dispatch need to run from one trip record, and when a shipper's EDI needs an in-house team to build and run it.

Here's what switching from Avaal actually takes.

Nobody switches TMS software for fun. The two things that keep fleets on a system they've outgrown are the changeover hassle and the up-front cost, so we built the migration around both. Your customers and drivers come over from Avaal through TransPlus templates, guided by a person, not a ticket queue. Onboarding takes 30 to 90 days depending on fleet size and data migration, and most Fleet Manager customers are live within 60 days, with a named onboarding specialist. Does a TMS integrate with the ELDs, accounting software, and other tools I already use?

Yes. TransPlus has 66 integrations across accounting, fuel cards, telematics, trailer tracking and carrier onboarding, including QuickBooks, Sage, Samsara, Motive, ISAAC and Geotab. Truck positions and driver hours come in from the ELD you already run, and the accounting integration posts to QuickBooks or Sage. EDI trading-partner connections are built and run by the in-house TransPlus EDI team, so you keep the tools already in your trucks and your back office.

Does Avaal publish its pricing?
Not for its TMS: on avaal.com, the Avaal Express and AFM pages list plans without visible prices and ask for a quote. Capterra lists Avaal Express and Avaal Freight Management (AFM) at $99 per month. TransPlus publishes every plan's starting price: Fleet Manager starts at $350 per month for Lite, $500 for Standard and $650 for Enterprise, and Logistics Manager at $500, each for one user, on an annual contract billed quarterly in CAD or USD.
How long does switching from Avaal take?
Onboarding takes 30 to 90 days depending on fleet size and data migration, and most Fleet Manager customers are live within 60 days, with a named onboarding specialist. You keep dispatching in Avaal while we set up.
What does it cost to switch from Avaal?
Through October 31, 2026, the onboarding fee is waived for fleets moving from Avaal and the customer and driver import is included. Fleet Manager starts at $350 per month for Lite, $500 for Standard and $650 for Enterprise, each for one user, on an annual contract billed quarterly in CAD or USD; Logistics Manager starts at $500. Additional users, driver-app seats and add-on modules are priced separately. Fleet Manager runs fleets from a handful of trucks to several hundred.
What support do we get after switching?
1:1 live technical support on every plan, 7am to 6pm ET, Monday to Friday, with emergency after-hours support. A 15-truck fleet is not triaged behind a 300-truck account. Before go-live, your named onboarding specialist trains your team live on the software and every integration you have purchased, and dispatch keeps running in Avaal until the day you switch.
Will our ACE and ACI e-manifests still work?
Yes, from the load record. With TransPlus, ACE and ACI e-manifests and PARS and PAPS paperwork run from the load record through the ACE & ACI e-Manifest module, connected to BorderConnect and GeTS, so customs data is never keyed twice. It is an add-on module on every plan, so a fleet leaving AVAAL ACE/ACI e-Manifest (AEM) keeps its e-manifests inside the same system as dispatch.
Will our Avaal data come over?
Your customers and drivers do. Your named onboarding specialist guides the import with TransPlus templates, so you start dispatching with your customer list and driver roster in place instead of building them from scratch. Order history is not part of the import.
