TMS software with 1:1 live technical support on every plan.
TransPlus has been a TMS software provider for trucking companies and freight brokers across North America since 1995. Take the order, dispatch the load, track it, bill the customer and pay the driver or the carrier from the same system. Carriers run Fleet Manager; freight brokers and 3PLs run Logistics Manager. Plans start at $350 a month, billed quarterly, with 66 integrations, from QuickBooks to Samsara.

Four things to check with any TMS software provider.
Where TransPlus stands on each, in our customers' words.
Works with your ELD
TransPlus connects to Samsara, ISAAC, Motive and Geotab. Truck and trailer positions and ELD data come in from the units already in your trucks. Telematics is an add-on module. "The TransPlus team worked with us to ensure everything was integrated into our existing systems before we made the system live."
Going live
Onboarding takes 30 to 90 days depending on fleet size and data migration, and most Fleet Manager customers are live within 60 days, with a named onboarding specialist. "Support through implementation, as well as transitioning from the old system, has been fantastic."
Support that answers
Every plan comes with phone and email support, 7am to 6pm ET, Monday to Friday, and emergency after-hours support. "Support from the TransPlus team is spot-on and the integration with other systems has significantly changed our working practices for the better."
Reports from any board
Turn any board into a report and export it. "Our profitability has increased across all aspects of our business by making us more efficient and more transparent in making decisions in-house on services we used to outsource."

The 204 or the email becomes an order.
Loads arrive as an EDI 204 or as an email. The 204 lands as an order on its own; the email gets typed in once. Either way, the trip, the contract and the invoice hang off that one order. EDI is an add-on module, set up by our in-house EDI team.

The order becomes a trip with a driver and a truck.
Dispatch works every load from one board, whether your own driver hauls it or an outside carrier does. Assign the driver, the truck and the trailer, and the trip is set. At CMW Express, productivity in dispatch, billing and payroll went up 30 percent.
Truck positions come in from your ELD, so nobody calls the driver.
The board shows where the truck, the trailer and the load are, on a local run or a cross-border trip.

The POD lands from the driver's phone and the invoice follows.
The POD comes in from TransPlus Connect, the driver app. The invoice is built from the same trip, and so are the driver's settlement and the carrier's payable. They post to QuickBooks, Sage or ADP. SM Freight cut invoicing from two weeks to 48 hours on TransPlus.
Which TransPlus product you need depends on who hauls the load.
Fleet Manager
For fleets that run their own trucks: dispatch, driver pay, invoicing and reporting, with IFTA on the Enterprise plan. Three plans, $350 to $650 a month.
Logistics Manager
For freight brokers and 3PLs: rating and quoting, order entry, carrier search and contracting, rate history, paying the carrier, and the margin on every load. From $500 a month.
EDI isn't optional anymore.
Shippers make EDI a condition of doing business: load tenders (204), your yes or no (990), status updates (214) and invoices (210), plus an acknowledgment that each one arrived (997). If nobody in your office has set up EDI before, a TMS that checks the "EDI included" box leaves that work to you. At TransPlus, EDI is an add-on module: you pay a set-up fee, a module fee and a fee per transaction.
Whichever network your customer uses.
We build the EDI connection with whichever trading partner or network your customer requires, not just the ones we already support.
Our in-house team runs the set-up.
The TransPlus EDI team works with your customer, their IT staff and the EDI network, and runs the set-up from kickoff through certification.
We keep it running.
We monitor the connection after you go live and fix what breaks, so missed status updates or rejected invoices don't cost you the account.
Connects to the tools you already run.
Keep the accounting and ELD tools you trust. TransPlus connects to them.

A TMS cuts cost in three places. Loads are entered once, so the invoice and the driver's pay are built from the dispatched trip instead of being re-keyed. Truck positions come in from your ELD, so check calls stop. Reports show what each load paid after fuel, driver and deadhead, so you can drop the lanes and customers that lose money. At CMW Express, productivity across dispatch, billing and payroll went up 30 percent after moving to TransPlus.
Check four things with every TMS software provider, and get each in writing. Price and what it covers: TransPlus plans start at $350 a month for up to 3 users. Time to go live: onboarding takes 30 to 90 days depending on fleet size and data migration, and most Fleet Manager customers are live within 60 days, with a named onboarding specialist. Support: 1:1 live technical support on every plan, 7am to 6pm ET, Monday to Friday, with emergency after-hours support. Fit with what you run: 66 integrations and an in-house EDI team.
Onboarding takes 30 to 90 days depending on fleet size and data migration, and most Fleet Manager customers are live within 60 days, with a named onboarding specialist. Customers, drivers, carriers, trucks and trailers come over through TransPlus templates, with the import guided by a person rather than a ticket queue.
TransPlus Fleet Manager starts at $350 per month for Lite, $500 for Standard and $650 for Enterprise; Logistics Manager starts at $500 per month. Lite covers up to 3 users, Standard up to 6, and Enterprise has no user cap. Every plan is an annual contract billed quarterly, in CAD or USD depending on where your business operates. Quoted separately: TransPlus Connect driver-app seats, add-on modules such as EDI and ACE/ACI e-manifests, EDI setup, module and per-transaction fees, and the onboarding fee. IFTA reporting is included in the Enterprise plan only.
In a TMS, look for dispatch and load management, integrations with your ELD and accounting software, a driver app, automated billing and invoicing, and reporting on profitability and fuel costs. The right feature set depends on whether you run your own trucks, broker loads, or both. In TransPlus, the EDI, customs, telematics and accounting modules all work from the same load, entered once. On any demo, count the clicks from rate confirmation to invoice and ask what the driver app does when the driver has no signal at the dock.
A TMS is the software a carrier or freight brokerage runs its office on: dispatch, driver assignment, invoicing and the paperwork on every load. It replaces spreadsheets, paper and phone calls. Past a handful of trucks, the hours lost re-keying loads and chasing paperwork are what a TMS gives back.
TransPlus is not for you in three cases. If you want a browser-only tool with nothing on the office PC: the office side of TransPlus runs a small Windows client, with drivers on the TransPlus Connect app. If you need IFTA reporting on the Lite or Standard plan: it is included in Enterprise only. If you run one or two trucks and are not ready for an annual contract billed quarterly: a TMS is probably not worth it yet.
